When someone asks me what a boudoir session is like, I semi-joke that it’s kinda like having a baby.
I can tell you every last detail of my birth story, what it felt like, how life changing it was, and all about the indescribable love you are about to feel for that baby…but until you experience it for yourself, you can’t really understand.
Thank you so much love! Such an amazing experience every time!
What a perfect way to give yourself a boost of confidence during such a precious most body changing time in your life!
Cate, you’ve done it again!!
There is no way to really, fully prepare for a boudoir session, just like there is no way to fully plan a birth. So much of what keeps women from getting in front of my camera is fear of the unknown.
Fear is the way that your body tries to keep you from doing something, because it can’t gauge the outcome of a situation. Your body’s primary job is to keep you from harm–so if it’s unfamiliar with the way something will play out, it will try to protect you from it. Fear is the thing you have to push through, before you can leap into something that can change your life.
What feels like the hardest/scariest part about a boudoir session to you?
